وكتبت المسؤولة الأوروبية في منشور على حسابها في إكس، اليوم (الجمعة): «نتضامن تماماً مع شعب السعودية وشركائنا في الخليج». وتقدمت بخالص التعازي إلى عائلات الضحايا الثلاثة الذين قضوا في الهجوم على مطار الملك خالد الدولي في العاصمة الرياض. وقالت: «نقف بتضامن كامل مع شعب المملكة العربية السعودية وجميع شركائنا في الخليج». وشددت على أن استهداف البنية التحتية المدنية أمر غير مقبول، مؤكدة أنه على الوكلاء التابعين لإيران أن يوقفوا أعمالهم المتهورة والعنيفة.

فيما أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي، عن استنكاره وإدانته القاطعة للهجوم الإرهابي الذي أقدمت عليه مليشيات الحوثي باستهداف مطار الملك خالد في الرياض، ما أودى بحياة عدد من الأشخاص. وأكد أن استهداف مليشيا الحوثي لمطار الملك خالد يمثل «جريمة إرهابية مدانة وتجاوزاً خطيراً». وقال البديوي إن تعمد ميليشيا الحوثي استهداف المطارات المدنية والمدنيين يستدعي تحركاً دولياً جاداً وإجراءات حاسمة تكفل ردعها ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الاعتداءات التي تتنافى مع أبسط المبادئ الإنسانية والمواثيق الدولية. وجدد الأمين العام التأكيد على أن أمن السعودية جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دول مجلس التعاون، مؤكداً مساندة المجلس المطلقة للمملكة في كل ما تتخذه من خطوات لصون أمنها وحماية مقدراتها وسلامة أراضيها.

من جانبها، أدانت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية الاعتداءات الحوثية على مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالعاصمة السعودية الرياض، والتي أودت بحياة عدد من المواطنين وإصابة آخرين. وأكدت في بيان، اليوم، أن الاعتداءات الحوثية «انتهاك صارخ لسيادة المملكة، وخرق فاضح للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني»، مشيرة إلى أن هذه الهجمات تمثل تهديداً مباشراً لأمن المنطقة والملاحة الجوية. وأعلنت الخارجية تضامن الكويت المطلق مع السعودية، ودعمها لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها لصون سيادتها وأمنها وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، مشددة على أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دولة الكويت وأمن دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the European Union’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia following the attack on an airport in Riyadh.

The European official wrote in a post on her account on X today (Friday): “We fully stand in solidarity with the people of Saudi Arabia and our partners in the Gulf.” She extended her heartfelt condolences to the families of the three victims who lost their lives in the attack on King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh. She stated: “We stand in complete solidarity with the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all our partners in the Gulf.” She emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure is unacceptable, asserting that Iranian-affiliated agents must cease their reckless and violent actions.

Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassem Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militias targeting King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the loss of several lives. He affirmed that the targeting of King Khalid Airport by the Houthi militia represents “a condemned terrorist crime and a serious violation.” Al-Budaiwi stated that the deliberate targeting of civilian airports and civilians by the Houthi militia necessitates serious international action and decisive measures to deter them and prevent the recurrence of such assaults that contradict the most basic humanitarian principles and international charters. The Secretary-General reiterated that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, affirming the Council’s absolute support for the Kingdom in all measures it takes to preserve its security, protect its resources, and ensure the safety of its territory.

For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Houthi attacks on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which resulted in the loss of several citizens’ lives and injuries to others. In a statement today, it affirmed that the Houthi attacks represent “a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and humanitarian law,” noting that these attacks pose a direct threat to regional security and air navigation. The Ministry announced Kuwait’s complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents on its territory, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
